FLINT — Financial Plus Credit Union and the Swartz Creek Area Chamber of Commerce will host their 12th annual Whatchamacallit networking event on Dec. 4, from 6-9 a.m. The event will be held at Financial Plus Credit Union’s main office located at G-3381 Van Slyke Rd.
This highly attended premier event aims to raise money and donations to benefit the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
“We look forward to hosting this event each year with the Swartz Creek Chamber. The support and donations we receive from the attendees help such a great cause, and it really brings out the holiday spirit in all of our guests” said Olga Long, Senior Vice President of Financial Plus Credit Union.
The networking event allows local business professionals to interact with hundreds of businesses and community professionals, while benefiting the local charity. Monetary donations and non-perishable food items will be accepted throughout the event and 100% of funds raised will go directly to feeding the hungry in Genesee County.
Whatchamacallit will be filled with holiday cheer, music from The New Century Chorale, prize drawings, a breakfast buffet, and a photo booth from Freeze Frame Photo Lounge. The Grinch will be making an appearance announcing guests from the naughty and nice list. Ck 105.5, Cars 108, 103.9 The Fox, and NASH FM 95.1 will be broadcasting live from the event all morning long.
