GRAND BLANC —The Mallon Cup, the second tier of the Flint Junior Golf Association’s triple crown, was postponed on Monday due to severe flooding at Warwick Hills Country Club in Grand Blanc.

The severe storms of Sunday night and Monday morning caused the flooding, which pushed the Mallon Cup back to July 21. It will now take place at the Flint Golf Club. Next Monday, the FJGA will be in action at Atlas Valley Country Club to determine the winner of the Hendrickson Award. — B.P.
