— The Flint Symphony Orchestra and conductor Enrique Diemecke present a season of celebrated classical compositions.
The trumpets announce your arrival at the threshold of the Eternal City — Rome! Each note will propel you through this fabled empire and send our imagination flying into history.
Violinist Ilya Kaler joins the FSO, Oct. 2 at 8:30 p.m. at The Whiting.
You’ll experience music by wellknown composers as well as works inspired by the Eternal City.

Rossini’s, Overture to La gazza ladra, Paganini’s, Concerto No. 2 for Violin and Orchestra in B minor and Respighi’s, The Birds and Roman Festivals
