Flint Township introduces newest officer

The Flint Township Police Department has filled the first of four vacant budgeted police officer positions with the hire of Officer Jestin McWilliams (pictured, right, with Flint Township Police Chief Kevin Salter). McWilliams, formerly a Genesee County deputy for seven years, was sworn into office last week and approved for hire by the Flint Township Board of Trustees on July 5. He has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Baker College of Owosso and is a graduate of Byron High School.
