Flint Township man arraigned on murder charges

FLINT TWP. — A 19-year-old Flint Township man was arraigned last week on multiple charges in connection with a murder at a Flint Township apartment complex.

Erion Dashawn-Rashe Parker was arraigned last week before Genesee District Judge Jennifer J. Manley on one count each of first-degree premeditated murder, felony murder, armed robbery and carrying a concealed weapon and three counts of felony firearm.

Flint Township Police were called at about 8:47 p.m. Sept. 28 to the 800 building on Suncrest Drive within Sunridge Apartments at 3348 Flushing Road for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Adrian Evans, 22, of Flint Township, with multiple gunshot wounds lying near the 800 building. He was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the wounds.

Flint Township Police were assisted at the scene by the Michigan State Police Crime laboratory out of Bridgeport. The shooting remains under investigation.

Parker is being held without bond in the Genesee County Jail.
