Flint Township voters to select trustees, school board candidates on Nov. 3

FLINT TWP. — Voters in Flint Township will decide on candidates for the Flint Township Board of Trustees and the Carman-Ainsworth Board of Education at the Nov. 3 general election.

In the race for the Flint Township Board of Trustees, incumbents Barb Vert (D), Carol Pfaff Dahl (D) and Tom Klee (D) will face challengers Debbe Campbell (D) and David Huffman (R). The top four vote-getters will be elected for a four-year term on the township board.

Flint Township Supervisor Karyn Miller (D), Flint Township Clerk Kathy Funk (D) and Flint Township Treasurer Lisa Anderson (D) are all running unopposed on Nov. 3.

In the Carman-Ainsworth Board of Education race, incumbents Waymond Beavers and James Johnson will face challenger Todd Miller for two seats on the school board. All three candidates are seeking a six-year term.

Below are the polling locations for Flint Township. The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. — B.G.

Precincts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 10: West Flint Church of the Nazarene, 2254 S. Dye Road.

Precincts 6 and 11: VFW Post 3087, 4138 Corunna Road.

Precincts 5, 7, 8 and 9: Our Lady of Lebanon, 4133 Calkins Road.

Precincts 12, 13, 14 and 15: Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Road.
