Flint’s Tubbs named 2019-20 UW-Whitewater Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete

WHITEWATER, WI — Kailee Tubbs, a graduate of Davison High School, and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women’s bowling team, is one of 67 Warhawks to be recognized as 2019-20 Chancellor’s Scholar-Athletes by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Chancellor Dwight C. Watson.

Tubbs is majoring in supply chain/operations management at UW-Whitewater.

To be recognized as Scholar-Athletes, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or above through the end of the 2019 fall semester. Honorees must have participated in a varsity sport for two years, must be of senior academic status and must have accumulated at least 90-degree credits.

The 67 student-athletes recognized in 2019-20 are the most in the history of the Chancellor’s Scholar- Athlete program. — G.G.
