FLINT — On Saturday,Nov. 16, the Flint School of Performing Arts will be hosting the FSPA College Audition Expo.This event will give local, up-andcoming musician’s a chance to get helpful advice, that will later help them, prepare for college music audition’s.
High school musician’s and their parents are invented to attend.The expo will be running from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.,and will be held at the Flint School of Performing Arts.
Representatives from many Michigan universities,including UM-Ann Arbor, MSU,and WMU will participate in a panel of discussion that will focus on music auditions preparations,admission requirements, audition day expectations, scholarships opportunities, and life as a music major, students and their parents will have the opportunity to visit with representatives in a meet-and greet after the discussion.
The college audition expo is one of many great programs the FSPA offers for students considering careers in music. This expo is free and open to the public, and is highly recommended for any high school students looking for a career in musical arts.
