GRAND BLANC — The state police Computer Crimes Unit, internet Crimes Against Children Task Force last week announced the arrest of Bastian M. Wilhelm on charges of child sexually abusive activity – distributing or promoting, and using a computer to commit a crime.
Wilhelm, 18, of Grand Blanc, was arrested following an investigation in which digital evidence was seized from his home, according to a press release from the state police. Investigators allege Wilhelm was viewing child sexually abusive materials on the internet.
Following the search warrant at his residence, Wilhelm was charged with one count of child sexually abusive activity – distributing or promoting and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in 67th District Court on Tuesday, April 13.
