Gearing up for the holidays; new retail offerings at GVC

FLINT TWP. — With the holidays fast approaching, Genesee Valley Center has welcomed several new retailers including Zumiez, Fringe Salon, Touch-N-Buy, Purely Natural, Fired Up Ceramics, We Can Do It and Gift-EZ.

Zumiez, a Seattle based retailer, sells action sports apparel, shoes and gear for guys and girls and carries popular brands such as Dakine, Volcom, Nike, Vans, DC, Element and Nixon. Zumiez also focuses on skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, motocross and BMX and is located in the Macy’s wing.

Fringe Salon is a cart operator also located in the Macy’s wing. It is offering feather and colored hair extensions, hair jewels, hair tinsel and hair and nail care products including Sexy Hair and OPI product lines.

Located in the Burlington Coat Factory wing, the Touch-N-Buy digital kiosk offers shoppers the ability to pay bills, purchase prepaid phone cards and prepaid Visa and MasterCard debit cards, as well as music downloads and copy and fax services all in one convenient location.

Purely Natural, carrying Dead Sea skin care products and lotions, is a cart operator located in the JCPenney wing. Dead Sea products contain “rich, life-enhancing” minerals from the waters of the centuries old Dead Sea, located in Israel.

Fired Up Ceramics has more than 6,000 ceramic molds for customers to choose from and customize or to purchase already finished. Located in the Burlington Coat Factory wing, Fired Up Ceramics also carries paints, glazes and supplies and hosts parties for guests to create their own custom piece to take home with them. Weekly ceramics painting classes are also available.

We Can Do It, located in the Burlington Coat Factory wing, offers custom decals, banners, signs, graphics, vehicle lettering, wall art and more. Customers can select a design or create their own with the help of We Can Do It.

Gift-EZ sells an array of pre-made and custom gift baskets, home décor, stationery, greeting cards and novelty items for special occasions. It is located next to JCPenney.
