Genesee Health Plan partners with C-A Schools

FLINT TWP. — Do you or your children need health coverage?

The Health Plan Marketplace can be daunting for anyone looking to get health coverage. It is especially confusing now as Michigan has re-bid all of its Medicaid health plan providers statewide. This means that many families with children covered by Medicaid Health Plans will need to re-apply for their health coverage in the next few months.

Help is now at hand in a partnership between Carman-Ainsworth Schools and the Genesee Health Plan (GHP) that will provide CA families with access to a health care enrollment specialist that can help them navigate through health care coverage concerns, according to a C-A press release.

Offered on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 1p.m., GHP will have a health care enrollment specialist available at Stalker Elementary, 3329 Burnell Avenue.

GHP is a community supported non-profit program designed to provide health care coverage to the uninsured residents of Genesee County. It is located at 2171 Linden Road. More info is available on its web site at
