Story Time with Miss Carol

• Preschoolers come join the fun with interactive stories with Miss Carol at the Grand Blanc McFarlen Library, 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Sept. 24. on Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Visit to register.

• Popular children’s Author Johnathan Rand to visit the Grand Blanc library. Author of American Chillers services, Michigan Chillers series and now Freddie Fernortner books to be appearing at the Grand Blanc McFarlen library on Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. Please visit to register.


• Come learn about reptiles and their important role in our environment! You’ll get to meet and pet a tortoise, lizards, snakes and even a small alligator. Davison Library will be hosting Sept. 29 at 11 a.m., Goodrich at 1 p.m. on the 29th and 3:30 p.m. at Burton Memorial Library on Sat. Sept. 29 as well. Visit to register.

Is Your Money Making You Crazy?

• Personal finance expert Liz Pulliam Weston, who has appeared on The Today Show, CNBC’s Power Lunch, and NPR’s All Things Considered, will offer tips on how to deal with tough financial times when anxiety threatens to overwhelm you. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided. All those attending the seminar will receive a ticket to the Women’s Expo courtesy of Women 2 Women Michigan. This is a free seminar; however, registration is required.
