GENESEE COUNTY – To help improve the quality of life for cancer patients, Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute offers a variety of free programs and activities throughout the year. Proceeds from Ribbons and Rhythm, an annual fundraising event, will go to support these programs.
The third annual night of fun and music will take place at The Jewel of Grand Blanc, on Saturday, March 24 from 6:30-10 p.m. Cost is only $5 a person.
Katie Stanley, a well-known folk and rock musician and songwriter, will perform at 7:30 pm. The evening includes raffles, a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing, and fun with friends and family.
Thanks to proceeds from this event, Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute is a able to offer a wide range of classes for its patients such as: creative healing art, meditation, yoga, journaling, photography, scrapbooking and food demonstrations.
Please join in the fun on March 24. No reservations are necessary. The Jewel is located at 5270 Perry Road in Grand Blanc. Last year’s event raised more than $2,000.
