GRAND BLANC TWP. — Tickets now are available for the first Grand Blanc Township Historic District Commission Ghost Walk.
The walk will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Perry-McFarlan Cemetery.
Come hear the tales of spirits past while on a guided tour through the cemetery. The cemetery is located at the northeast corner of Perry and Genesee roads. Established in 1834, the burial ground has 783 gravesites on two acres of land.
This is not a scary event, but a walk that combines heritage, folklore, stories, myths, legends and the history of Grand Blanc Township’s first citizens, a Civil War hero and a Revolutionary War veteran.
Tickets cost $5, or $3 in advance. Children 12 years old and younger are admitted free. Come prepared with the appropriate footwear.
