SOUTHFIELD — The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan is pleased to announce the election of Jeff Wilson, General Motors Global Supply Chain manager, to a three-year term on its board of directors.

Wilson currently holds the position of Global Supply Chain manager for the GM Flint Engine Operations. He provides direction to the Global Supply Chain function of operational and administrative support in the areas of production planning, supplier planning, internal and external material involvement and logistics.

Wilson is a longtime GM/Delphi employee, joining GM as a co-op student in 1975. He and his family live in Grand Blanc.

“Jeff ’s passion for our organization is unmatched anywhere,” said Arlene Gorelick, president of the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. “Not only is he a dedicated businessman, citizen and family man, he proudly supports each and every program within our organization in the name of his late daughter, Gen, whom he lost to a fatal seizure several years ago. Jeff and his family have committed themselves to spreading epilepsy awareness throughout each community in Michigan, and for these reasons, he’s a perfect fit for our board.”

The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan leads the fight to assist those in the state living with epilepsy, and their families, by providing programs, services, education and advocacy. “Our Board is made up of passionate and committed individuals from all areas of Michigan, each of whom has pledged themselves to supporting those in this state who are directly affected by epilepsy,” said Gorelick.
