The LakeVille Marching Band Fundraiser, sponsored by the LakeVille Class of 1965 and Friends, will be held May 21 at WILLOW SPRINGS in Vassar. The LEADER Fund Hole-in-One Par Three Shootout will be held June 4 at METAMORA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, with starting times of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration is at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. The entry fee is $100 for the 18-hole par-3 tournament, with a May 31 deadline to register. An 18-hole golf scramble on June 4 at COPPER RIDGE will be part of a day-long competition in three different sports. The event is titled Tri for CURED (Campaign Urging Research for Eosinophilic Disease) and starts with a two-person Scotch bowling tournament at Rollaway Lanes, followed by golf and a bean bag toss at Copper Ridge. Registration begins at 10:30-11 a.m. at Rollaway, with bowling beginning at 11:30. Registration is $100 per person, with a deadline of May 14 and a limit of 60 teams. Late registration is $110. The cost includes two drink tickets each at Rollaway and Copper Ridge, plus keg beer and pizza at the final event, with a cash bar and live music after the event.
