Golf Outings is provided by View Newspaper Group to give area service clubs, charitable organizations, non-profits, sports booster clubs and other civic and community organizations an opportunity to publicize their golf outings. If your group or club is hosting a golf outing to raise funds for a charitable or community cause, email your outing information to: dnilsen@mihomepaper.com. The Bendle Football Program will hold its second annual Bendle Football Golf Scramble on June 4 at IMA BROOKWOOD with a 9a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $50 a player or $200 a team. SATURDAY, JUNE 4

The LEADER Fund Hole-in-One Par Three Shootout will be held June 4 at METAMORA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, with starting times of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Registration is at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. The entry fee is $100 for the 18-hole par-3 tournament, with a May 31 deadline to register. BBQ luncheon from noon-2 p.m. Lunch on the course. There will be prizes for the lowest 18-hole scores, 18 total prizes for closest to the pin for the entire day, 18 hole-in-one prizes valued at a minimum of $10,000 per hole and a bonus 19th hole mystery prize. Over $250,000 in prizes available. Event proceeds to benefit the Lapeer Education & Athletic Department Expenses Resource Fund. Sponsorships available. SATURDAY, JUNE 4

An 18-hole golf scramble on June 4 at COPPER RIDGE will be part of a day-long competition in three different sports. The event is titled Tri for CURED (Campaign Urging Research for Eosinophilic Disease) and starts with a two-person Scotch bowling tournament at Rollaway Lanes, followed by golf and a bean bag toss at Copper Ridge. Registration begins at 10:30-11 a.m. at Rollaway, with bowling beginning at 11:30. Registration is $100 per person, with a deadline of May 14 and a limit of 60 teams. Late registration is $110. The cost includes two drink tickets each at Rollaway and Copper Ridge, plus keg beer and pizza at the final event, with a cash bar and live music after the event. The Mid-Michigan Police K-9 Golf Outing will

be held June 4 at the JEWEL in Grand Blanc. Registration at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $280 per team or $70 per person, with a May 27 deadline. Includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner, 50/50, prizes, skins and silent auction. All proceeds go to the working K-9’s in the area. Hole sponsorships $100. The annual Swartz Creek Athletic Boosters Golf Outing will be held June 11 at SWARTZ CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE in Flint. Shotgun start is at 9 a.m. Cost is $60 per person or $240 per team, due in full at least seven days prior to the outing. Hole sponsorships are $100 per hole. The Sis Bro’s 8th Annual Autism Golf Outing in Cooper Roberts’ honor will be held June 11 at CAPTAIN’S CLUB AT WOODFIELD. The scramble format has a 2p.m. shotgun start and includes 18 holes with cart, boxed lunch, dinner, prize, raffles and games. Cost is $75 per golfer, $300 per foursome or $30 for dinner only. The I.M.P.A.C.T Pregnancy Resource Center will be hosting their second annual golf outing Swing for A Life Event on June 11 at FENTON FARMS. Registration and continental breakfast starts at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $100 per person or $400 per team ($10 off before June 4). Lunch, cart and hot dog at the turn provided. Special events include closest to the pin and longest drive. Tee sign sponsors $100. The event benefits the Impact Center in assisting women and men with educational parenting classes, pack and plays, car seats, diapers and material needs.
