The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan is hosting its 15th annual “Drive to End Hunger” Golf Outing on July 25 at SAGINAW COUNTRY CLUB. The four-person scramble will have a shotgun start at 10 a.m. sharp. Games, prizes, awards, hors d’oeuvres are included. Registration is available for teams as well as sponsorship opportunities. All proceeds will support the hungry in our community. The Rotary Club of Lapeer will hold its 2016 golf tournament July 26 at DEVIL’S RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB. Registration at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The four-person scramble is open to men’s, women’s and co-ed teams. Cost is $100 per player, which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, New York strip steak dinner at 5 p.m., open bar from 4-6 p.m. and door prizes. Prizes awarded for each division winner, plus longest drive, closest to the pin and hole-in-one. The Lapeer Junior Lightning will hold their second annual golf outing July 30 at METAMORA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost is $300 per four-player team. Closest to pin and long drive contests, donuts and coffee at registration, lunch and dinner buffet all included in team fee. Hole sponsorships available for $50 per hole. The Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce “Great Balls of Fire” golf outing, supporting the Grand Blanc Fire Department, will be held Aug. 5 at FLINT ELKS CLUB. The 13th annual golf outing to benefit Make-A-Wish Michigan will be held Aug. 6 at HADLEY ACRES. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Prizes for first, second and third place, plus a silent auction, door prizes, Vegas hole, longest drive (men and women) and closest to pin. The Rosenwald Harlanites, Inc. eighth annual Scholarship Golf Outing will be held Aug. 13 at the CAPTAIN’S CLUB OF WOODFIELD in Grand Blanc, with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Registration fee is $75 by July 15 and $80 after, and includes lunch. Sponsorships are $100 or (new this year) $500 major sponsorships. There will be a hole-in-one contest plus 50/50 raffle, closest to the pin and longest drive contests.
