Golf Outings

Golf Outings is provided by View Newspaper Group to give area service clubs, charitable organizations, non-profits, sports booster clubs and other civic and community organizations an opportunity to publicize their golf outings. If your group or club is hosting a golf outing to raise funds for a charitable or community cause, email your outing information to: Submissions subject to publisher’s discretion and space available.


Lapeer High School will hold a benefit golf outing May 5 at LAPEER COUNTRY CLUB. Shotgun start at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $100 per person or $400 per team. Prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin for men and women. No current students please. Please confirm your spot by April 28. First 36 paid-in-full teams accepted. The 13th annual Adopt-A-Pet golf outing will be held May 19 at FENTON FARMS GOLF CLUB. Registration and lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. with a 1p.m. shotgun start. Entry fee of $100 per person includes lunch, golf with cart, a beer at the turn and dinner. Prizes for winners and raffles. Pre-registration teams of four only. The Bendle Football Program will hold their 4th annual golf outing Saturday, June 2 at THE JEWEL GOLF COURSE in Grand Blanc. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. Entry fee of $60 per person or $240 per team includes coffee and donut breakfast, green fees, prizes, along with dinner and award banquet following golf. The Sir Knights from Cardinal Mooney Assembly 2032 will hold their annual four-person scramble golf tournament on July 14 at HADLEY ACRES GOLF CLUB. Registration at 9:30 a.m. with 10 a.m. shotgun start. Cost of $65 per person includes coffee and donuts, hot dog at the turn, steak dinner, cash awards and door prizes.
