Golf Outings



Golf Outings is provided by View Newspaper Group to give area service clubs, charitable organizations, non-profits, sports booster clubs and other civic and community organizations an opportunity to publicize their golf outings. If your group or club is hosting a golf outing to raise funds for a charitable or community cause, email your outing information to: avandaele@mihomepaper.com. SATURDAY, JUNE 2

The Bendle Football Program will hold their 4th annual golf outing Saturday, June 2 at THE JEWEL GOLF COURSE in Grand Blanc. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m. Entry fee of $60 per person or $240 per team includes coffee and donut breakfast, green fees, prizes, along with dinner and award banquet following golf. There will be skins, closest to the pin, longest drive, 50/50, and other raffles. The Leader Fund holein one par-three shootout will be held June 2 at METAMORA GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB. Start times of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Cost of $100 per person includes 18-hole par-three shootout tournament. Prizes for holes-in-one, closest to the pin and low score. The 2018 Greek Challenge Invitational will be held June 2 at BROOKWOOD GOLF COURSE. Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Cost of $75 per player includes 18 holes of golf and a boxed lunch at the turn. Prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. All proceeds will go toward the Memory Allen Wright Scholarship Fund. Everyone must pre-register. The 2018 Davison Football scramble golf outing will be held June 23 at COPPER RIDGE GOLF COURSE. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost of $75 per player or $300 per foursome includes 18 holes of golf with cart, range balls, hot dog at the turn and dinner. Must be 18 and graduated to play. Registration deadline is June 20, open to first 36 paid in full teams. Raffle items, silent auction and 50/50. The Sir Knights from Cardinal Mooney Assembly 2032 will hold their annual four-person scramble golf tournament on July 14 at HADLEY ACRES GOLF CLUB. Registration at 9:30 a.m. with 10 a.m. shotgun start. Cost of $65 per person includes coffee and donuts, hot dog at the turn, steak dinner, cash awards and door prizes.
