A day of golf, food and fun is planned at the eighth annual Amy Simon Memorial Golf Scramble and Silent Auction on June 18 at the CAPTAIN’S CLUB OF WOODFIELD in Grand Blanc. The outing supports Make-AWish Michigan in memory of Amy, who died of cancer at age 13. Golfers will receive range balls, a continental breakfast, a ball cap, 18 holes of golf with cart, a snack at the turn, a buffet lunch, a sleeve of balls and other gifts. Non-golfers are invited to come for the lunch, the silent auction and the program, starting around 2 p.m. The cost is $95 for golfers and $35 for those attending the lunch and auction only. Tee time is 8:45 a.m. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., allowing ample time for breakfast, range balls and participation in a putting contest.
