The Lapeer American Legion’s annual Victory for Vets SAL golf tournament will be held September 7 at ROLLING HILLS GOLF COURSE. Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Entry fee of $80 per person or $320 per team includes golf, dinner and many prizes afterward. Prizes for first, second and third place. The 19th annual North Branch boys’ basketball/boys’ golf scramble will be held September 7 at CASTLE CREEK GOLF CLUB. Shotgun start at 10 a.m. Cost of $60 per person or $240 per team.
