FLINT — Goyette Mechanical has announced its 2012 Excellence in Service Award winners.
Duane Samuelson of Mt. Morris, has been awarded the George Hier Excellence in Plumbing Service Award and Nick Richardson of Flushing has been awarded the Curt Maser Excellence in HVAC Service Award.
The George Hier Award is given each year to the Goyette Service technician that exemplifies excellence in customer service, training and certifications, as well as professionalism and customer reviews.
Samuelson has been a specialty HVAC technician for more than 20 years and has been employed with Goyette Mechanical more than seven years.
Samuelson has also been a part of “Project Heats On” an annual community effort to help needy families in the Burton Area.
Project Heats On selects 40 Burton area homes and provides much needed furnace cleaning, repair and even replacement free of charge for families in need. He has volunteered his services with Project Heats On for several years.
Curt Lalonde, General Manager for Goyette Mechanical said “Duane’s years of fantastic service and professionalism have earned him this award.”
The Curt Maser Award is given each year to the Goyette HVAC Service technician that exemplifies excellence in customer service, training and certifications, as well as professionalism and customer reviews.
A graduate of Grand Blanc High School, Richardson has been a specialty service technician with Goyette Mechanical for than four years.
Richardson has also been a part of “Project Heats On.” — G.G.
