Kaushal Patel, at center with scissors, prepares to cut the ceremonial ribbon to celebrate the official grand opening of Grand Blanc Pharmacy, 2227 Hill Road. Patel, who was joined by members of the Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce, local dignitaries and his family, is the owner and pharmacist. Grand Blanc Pharmacy offers a personal approach to the full-service pharmacy providing prescription, over-the-counter and other needs, including immunizations. A drive-through window is available, as is delivery service. State Rep. Tim Sneller, who attended the ribbon cutting, said it is nice to see a neighborhood pharmacy in the community. Grand Blanc Township Supervisor Scott Bennett also helped welcome the new business, saying the township encourages growth in the locally-owned commercial sector. “I’m glad to be part of the community, part of the business community and part of the health community in Grand Blanc,” said Patel.
