FENTON – The Carman-Ainsworth swim team took 12th at the 30th annual Genesee County Meet that was held last Thursday through Saturday. Grand Blanc continued its dominance at the annual meet, finishing first for the 19th year in a row Saturday. The Bobcats finished with a team-total 614 to secure first, while Fenton was second with a 497 and Swartz Creek/Flushing third with 250.

Davison finished fourth with 171, Corunna was fifth with 134, Holly sixth with 116, Flint Powers Catholic seventh with 109, Owosso eighth with 83, Lapeer ninth with 69, Kearsley and Brandon tied for 10th with 68 and Carman-Ainsworth was 12th with 27.

Nathan Ratynski was 14th in the 50 freestyle, finishing in 25.72 and 12th in the 100 backstroke with 1:09.26. Cameron Koegel was 16th in 59.65 in the 100 freestyle.
