CLIO — Bring in 2012 with growth opportunities for your business through government contracting. To learn how to work with the government, join the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) of the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Healthy Community Initiative on Jan. 13 for Selling your Products or Services to the Government from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Mott Community College Northern Tier Center.
Dustin Frigy, Director of PTAC for the Regional Chamber says government contracting just may provide the best “new” opportunity for your business.
“The government market presents a wealth of opportunity,” said Frigy. “There are multiple ways that businesses large and small can work with local, state and federal government departments and get in on the over $400 billion government contracting market. That’s why this seminar is so important. It provides the information needed to successfully navigate the government maze and reveals exactly what it takes to become a contractor. Come to the Clio workshop on Jan. 13 and we will show you how to grow your business.”
Attendees also will learn about the services and support the Regional Chamber PTAC has available to help with the contracting process. Those encouraged to attend include management and employees who currently support or have an interest in facilitating government contracting within their companies.
There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required. Mott Community College Northern Tier Center is located at 4082 W. Vienna Road in Clio.
