Hurley Medical Center and Halo Burger held a press conference at Hurley’s Charles White Conference Center last Tuesday, Nov. 22 to announce their Pink Night Palooza and Beefy Double Fundraiser totals. These events helped to raise money for Hurley’s Breast Health Navigator Fund, which assists women in filling financial gaps and other needs during their breast cancer journey.
Hurley Medical Center’s Breast Health Nurse Navigator Marsha Schmit, RN, BSN, CBCN, guides women through the complex treatment options and the difficult journey that breast cancer presents. Schmit was thrilled to accept a total of $8,219 from Halo Burger’s Beefy Double Fundraiser on behalf of Hurley’s Breast Health Navigator Fund on Tuesday at Hurley Medical Center.
