HAP celebrating 50th anniversary




FLINT — Health Alliance Plan (HAP) is taking the Happy Together Summer Fest to Flint in celebration of their 50 years of improving health and enhancing lives. The free event, July 30 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., will feature fun activities for all ages:

• A free concert featuring The Ultimate Elvis Tribute starring Mike Albert

• The Detroit Pistons Dance Team — Automotion

• The Biggest Loser® Season 7 contestant, Mike Morelli and his brother Max Morelli

• Free health screenings

• Live band performances

• Prepare delicious Greek Yogurt Parfaits with Chef Paul Penney

• “What’s in Your Cart” with Zonya Foco, dietitian, author and TV personality

• Children’s arts and crafts with “Arts & Scraps”

• Performance by The Sphinx Trumpet Duo

• Rock climbing wall, inflatable obstacle course, face painting, children’s games and contests, and other fun family activities

The Happy Together Summer Fest will take place at the University of Michigan-Flint, 176 Harding Mott University Center and on the lawn near the William S. White Building. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs for the concert.
