— Graham Smith has joined HealthPlus of Michigan as the health benefit company’s director of Medicare Programs and individual sales. In this role he will be responsible for HealthPlus membership growth in the individual commercial and Medicare markets. He will also be responsible for developing strategies and providing oversight on HealthPlus service to those covered by individual and Medicare health plan products.
“Graham has a strong track record in agent relations and in building sales and membership for insurance plans,” said HealthPlus Vice President of Membership Growth Nancy Jenkins. “We are pleased to welcome him to the HealthPlus sales and marketing team.”
Smith, a licensed accident and health agent, has held sales and marketing positions for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Care Choices, and he most recently worked at United Insurance Group, a national field marketing organization based in Milford. He earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue University School of Technology and a master of business administration degree from Oakland University.
