FLINT — HealthPlus of Michigan’s Board of Directors has appointed Nancy Jenkins, HealthPlus vice president of community programs and customer experience, to fill the role of president and chief executive officer on an interim basis, effective immediately.
Jenkins replaces Bruce Hill in his role as president and CEO.
Chairman of the Board, Miles Owens, stated on behalf of the entire Board of Directors, “I would like to thank Mr. Hill for his contributions to HealthPlus. We wish Bruce well and thank him for his years of service. The Board has full confidence in Nancy Jenkins and the entire HealthPlus executive leadership team to manage through this transition. With her significant tenure and experience at HealthPlus, Nancy is the right person to lead us through this period of transition.”
Jenkins, who has more than 30 years’ experience with HealthPlus, has held a variety of leadership positions with the organization including her most recent position spearheading the company’s expanding community programs and customer experience team. She has also been responsible for sales and marketing, providing strategic direction to the company and government-relations activities.

The entire HealthPlus’ leadership team and I will ensure a seamless transition and will continue, in collaboration with the Board, to meet the expectations of our customers, employees and partners in the community,” Ms. Jenkins said.
