HealthPlus insurance seminars held at library

FLINT — HealthPlus will partner with the Genesee District Library resulting in mid-Michigan’s largest health insurer providing six 45-minute seminars about lowcost health insurance options for county residents.

The seminars are at GDL locations throughout Genesee County, are free to the public and require no reservation. MTA bus routes serve each library location.

HealthPlus representatives will discuss affordable insurance options for individuals and families, how to qualify and enroll, provide brochures with more information and answer audience questions. Seating is limited so attendees are encouraged to arrive on time. “HealthPlus understands that health insurance can be complicated,” said Colleen Sproul, director of community relations at HealthPlus. “Now, with new state and government programs, more Michigan residents qualify for affordable, high-quality coverage. The Genesee County Library is the perfect place to enlighten residents about their options.”

In addition to health insurance seminars, HealthPlus’ partnership with GDL includes the Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds program. — G.G.
