— For the sixth year in a row, HealthPlus of Michigan’s private health plans are recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as being among the nation’s best.

NCQA’s Health Insurance Plan Rankings 2010-11 — Private, the list of plan rankings that was released by NCQA last week, names HealthPlus as one of the top 30 private plans nationwide.

“We take great pride in being recognized as an exemplary health plan by NCQA,” said HealthPlus President and CEO Bruce Hill. “Being named among the best health plans in the nation is testament to the quality of service our customers enjoy from our partner physicians, hospitals, and our own HealthPlus workforce. This reflects our strategic focus on providing our members with better customer experiences and better health care.”

NCQA evaluated and ranked more than 200 private health plans based on clinical performance, member satisfaction, and NCQA Accreditation.
