FLINT — HealthPlus of Michigan has promoted Erik Helms to the position of vice president, provider network development and business intelligence. Helms, who most recently served as the company’s senior director of business intelligence and program management, will oversee the development and expansion of the HealthPlus provider network and health system/provider relationships. He will also oversee the HealthPlus Business Intelligence Unit and Program Management Office.
“Erik has extensive leadership and project management experience,” said HealthPlus President and CEO Bruce Hill. “I am pleased to welcome him to the HealthPlus executive team.”
Helms earned a bachelor’s degree in public and international policy from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in epidemiology from Michigan State University. He resides in Brighton with his wife and three children. — G.G.
