HealthPlus of Michigan now serves Washtenaw and Wayne counties




FLINT TWP. — HealthPlus of Michigan, with an established statewide PPO and serving more than 210,000 members in Michigan, has expanded its commercial HMO service area with the addition of Washtenaw County and Wayne County in its entirety. The expansion increases HealthPlus’ HMO coverage to 21 counties in Michigan.

The HealthPlus network of health care providers includes Trinity Health’s St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor and St. Joseph Mercy Saline hospitals, Chelsea Community Hospital, University of Michigan Medical Center, University of Michigan’s C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and VA Ann Arbor Healthcare system in Washtenaw County.

In Wayne County, HealthPlus members have access to health care provided by Ascension Health’s St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Garden City Hospital, St. Mary Mercy Livonia, Beaumont — Grosse Pointe, Detroit Medical Center, Oakwood Healthcare System, John D. Dingell VA Medical Center and Henry Ford Health System.
