Hometown Days to sponsor buck pole Nov. 15


SWARTZ CREEK — Swartz Creek Hometown Days will present its inaugural buck pole from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Kincaid Field, 5086 Morrish Road. The contest is sponsored by Kallas Heating & Cooling. Fireside Coffee will provide coffee and hot chocolate. Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place biggest scorable point buck (must clear scoring ring); 1st place heaviest deer; 1st place biggest scorable point buck age 17 and younger.

Only deer that are legally tagged will be weighed and entry must be made by the person whose name appears on the tag. One person can not win more than one category for the same deer.
