“Hot Flash Havoc” is coming to Flint




GENESEE COUNTY —”Hot Flash Havoc”, an entertaining and enlightening documentary about menopause, will be featured at a movie party from 6 -8:30 p.m. Nov. 11, at Bower Theater, 1220 East Kearsley Street in the Flint Cultural Center. Hosted by McLaren Flint, the award-winning film will provide a crash course on what women need to know about menopause. Featuring real women and interviews with world experts, the film looks at common menopause symptoms including hot flashes, mood swings and weight gain. The movie party begins with a wine and dessert reception followed at 6:30 p.m. by a program featuring clips from the documentary and an “Ask the Doctor” question and answer session featuring gynecologists Dr. Joseph Metz and Dr. Stanley Frye, and family medicine specialist Dr. Marcy Klein. Morning radio show host Stephanie K. from WWCK 105.5 will moderate the evening.
