Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop

FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present The No Regrets Tour, Nov. 16, with Apparitions, It Lies Within, Myths and Legends, 5ubkultur3, Conscripts and Atoms Divide. Tickets are $10.

Royal Bliss, with special guests Throwing Gravity, Amplaphi and Star City Meltdown, will perform Nov. 17. Tickets are $12 in advance.

The Rock Star: 80s Hair Band Tribute Party will be held Nov. 21. This is a low dough concert.

Live entertainment at Louie’s

LAPEER — Louie’s Sports Tavern, 3301 Davison Rd., will feature Team Trivia Begins every Wednesday 7-9 p.m. Prizes for winners each night 1st-3rd place.

Louie’s Sports Tavern will feature popular local musician Jaime Marvin starting at 9:30 p.m. tonight (Nov. 15).

DJ Ryan with R&R Lighting and Sounds, will play all the hits at Louie’s Nov. 16 starting at 9:30 p.m. And from 5-8 p.m. It’s Deer Widows night.

Sam VanWagoner and Jeremy St. John will perform Nov. 17 starting at 9:30 p.m.

On Nov. 21 the band Me3Mind will take to the stage at Louie’s starting at 9:30 p.m.

Welcome the holidays, Renaissance-style

FLINT — The University of Michigan-Flint’s celebrated Chamber Singers present the annual Madrigal Dinner followed by the Sounds of the Seasons Concert on Dec. 7-8, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 711 S. Saginaw St., Flint.

Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. with the Chamber Singers performing a concert of seasonal choral music at 7:30 p.m.

The Madrigal Dinner is a professional recreation of the Renaissance celebrations.

Tickets for are $35, and include a catered dinner followed by the concert. To reserve tickets call 810- 762-3377 or 810-237-6537. For those wishing to attend only the concert, tickets are $5 or free to students with a valid I.D. — G.G.
