Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop

FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Y & T, with special guests Tripp N Dixie and Chrome Mollie, March 29. Tickets are $15 in advance.

The Wide Awake and Dead Tour featuring Orgy with special guests Vampires Everywhere, Davey Suicide and 5ubkultur3, will take the stage at The Machine Shop, March 30. Admission is $15 in advance.

The Flint Town Throwdown, featuring Autumn Coma, Bulletproof, the Product and Crackjaw, is April 5. This is a low dough concert.

Live entertainment at Louie’s Sports Tavern

LAPEER — Louie’s Sports Tavern, 3301 Davison Rd., will feature Team Trivia Begins every Wednesday 7-9 p.m. Prizes for winners each night 1st-3rd place.

Louie’s Sports Tavern will feature Myk Rise, March 28 starting at 9:30 p.m.

Jeremy St. John will perform March 29 at Louie’s at 9:30 p.m.

Entertainment on March 30 starting at 9:30 p.m. has yet to be announced.

Kiwanis to compete in juried art show

LAPEER — The Lapeer Sunrise Kiwanis invites fine artists in all media to participate in the Juried Art portion of the 2013 Art and History Festival, June 1-2.
