Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop
— The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will play host to Banana 101.5’s “Binge Before Christmas” with Pop Evil and Danko Jones on Dec. 11. Doors at 7 p.m. Cost is $12 in advance. On Dec. 15 is Hell Yeah with Hail The Villain and A New Revolution. Tickets are $30 in advance. Non-traditional Paint by Numbers competition
— Complete a paint by numbers as close as possible to the guide with your own creative spin at Boundless Arts, 12235 S. Saginaw St., Dec. 11 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-3 p.m. This event is for children ages 8-12 and the fee is $5.50 which include materials and refreshments. Kids may be dropped off. First place will receive a $75 gift certificate to Boundless Arts, second place an acrylic painting gift package, third place a two-hour art lesson and fourth to 10th place a foil scrapbooking set. Judges will be Mary Beth Schiros, Tom Toohey, Kathy Wind and Vicki Weiss. — G.G.
