Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop

FLINT —The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint will feature Flaw, June 4, with Season’s After, Oblivious Signal and Sydetrakt. Tickets are $10 in advance.

Framing Hanley will perform, June 5, with special guests Heartist and Mistaken for Satellites. Tickets are $12 in advance.

The Rev. Horton Heat will perform June 9, with special guests Nekromantix and Whiskey Shivers, tickets are $12 in advance.

Entertainment at Louie’s

Bluegrass Fest this weekend

FLINT — Ryan Bellows Bluegrass Bazaar on June 6 from 11 a.m. -9 p.m. is a FREE Family Friendly Flint-Style Celebration of Bluegrass Music under the Kearsley Park pavilion. There will be Vendors, Food, Music, Dancing and Fun All Day. Local Vendors selling an array of items, Sponsors and Informational Vendor Booths with artists, crafters, antiques for sale set up in a Bazaar Style form. The Creative Alliance will be in attendance presenting Art Projects and hosting a Children’s area with crafts, games and fun.

Musical guests will include local and traveling musicians with a second jam stage for the public to share their own talents. So bring your banjos, fiddles and the family for a great day of fun. — G.G.
