Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop

FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Devil Driver with special guests Skeleton Witch, Chthonic and Hillside Barrier will perform Sept. 15. Tickets are $20 in advance. The Stealing Betty CD Release Show ill be Sept. 16 with special guests Ballz Deluxe and Throttlebody. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door. Derby Girls to start season

MT. MORRIS — The Mid Michigan Derby Girls will hold their first home bout of the season Sept. 24. The game is at Skateland Arena in Mount Morris, doors open at 6 p.m. and the game starts at 7 p.m., tickets are $6 in advance, $8 at the door and 12-years-old and under are free. Mid Michigan Derby Girls is a non-profit organization that donates their time and money to local charities.

FLINT — The Whiting has announced its lineup for its season starting this fall and tickets are now on sale for all shows. You can order online at www.thewhiting.com, or

call the Ticket Center at 810-237-7333 or toll free 888-8CENTER. You can also visit the Ticket Center at 1241 E. Kearsley St., Flint. Ticket Center Hours are Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-3 p.m. They will be closed July 1 and Sept. 5. — G.G.
