Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop
FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Whitey Morgan and the 78s, with special guests Dixie Hustler, on Nov. 25. Tickets are $10 in advance. The Hank 3 show on Nov. 26 is sold out. Tantric will perform Dec. 1 with special guests Man Made Machine and Eve to Adam. Tickets are $15 in advance. Banana 101.5 will present a $1.01 show featuring Kyng, Edisun, Syn City Cowboys and Black Oxygen on Dec. 2. All tickets are $1.01 at the door. Vertigo Theatrics offers Christmas show
FLINT — Vertigo Theatrics will feature “A Don’t Hug Me Christmas Carol” for its Musical Dinner Theatre performances on Dec. 2-3 and 9-10 witha7p.m.dinnerandan8p.m.show. There will also be a Dec. 11, 1:30 p.m. lunch and 2:30 p.m. show Tickets: $45/$40 in advance. Performance only seating is $20 It’s Christmas Eve in Marquette and cantankerous bar owner Gunner Johnson gets in an argument with his wife Clara and tells her “he’s skipping Christmas!” After storming out of the bar he snowmobiles across the lake, falls through the ice and goes into a coma. He comes back in his dreams where he is visited by folk legend, Sven Yorgenson who is in turn, the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. This hilarious spoof of Charles Dickens’ classic tale A Christmas Carol is sure to delight with the quirks and musical numbers. Vertigo Theatrics is located at 755 S.
