Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop
FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Fuel with special guests Dive and The Nines on Feb. 3. Tickets are $20 in advance.
Psychostick with special guests Ventana and As Summer Dies will take to the stage at the Machine Shop on Feb. 4. Tickets are $10.
Eye Empire featuring members of Dark New Day and Submersed, with special guests Ballz Deluxe, Know Lyfe and Sevin will perform Feb. 8. This is a low dough show.
Indi-Grace presents Metal Uncensored featuring Cadence, Avenue Sky, Blood of the Unborn, In the Cut, Silent Divide and It Lies Within, performing at the Machine Shop Feb. 10. Tickets are $5 in advance and are available from the bands, or $8 the day of the show.

FYT tickets for Henry and Mudge on sale
FLINT — Tickets are now available for Flint Youth Theatre’s presentation of Henry and Mudge. This FYT Special Event will be on April 5 with performances at 2-4:30 p.m. This performance offers families an affordable entertainment experience and, paired with a book from the best-selling Henry and Mudge series, it will make a memorable gift this holiday season.

Poetry Under the Stars
FLINT — Join Sloan*Longway and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Michigan-Flint for Poetry Under the Stars at Longway Planetarium.
The next event will be Feb. 7 with readings by Juan E. Mesata, Rafael H. Mojica, Joseph Tyler, and Scott Russell. Poems will be read in English as well as Spanish.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Meet the poets 6:30-7 p.m. with readings beginning at 7 p.m. These three events are free, with funding provided by Dr. Jamile T. Lawand, on behalf of the “Middle Eastern” Studies Program at the University of Michigan-Flint. — G.G.
