Concerts at The Machine Shop

FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Taddy Porter with special guests Tipp N Dixie and False City, on Feb. 23. This is a low dough show.

Rehab with special guests Rittz, Critical Bill and Mic Lordz Sauce Funky will perform Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. The cost is $15 in advance.

Rocks for Locks: A Benefit for Allie is Feb. 25 with Avenue Sky, Downseed, Crush and Abandon the Prophecy. There’s a $5 minimum donation at the doors, a guitar and 50/50 raffle and other prizes. A stylist will be on hand to cut hair for donations to Locks of Love.

Orgy with Ventana, 5ubkultur3 and Wonder World will perform Feb. 29. Tickets are $16 in advance.

Tickets for Henry and Mudge

FLINT — Tickets are now available for Flint Youth Theatre’s presentation of Henry and Mudge. This FYT Special Event will be on April 5 with performances at 2-4:30 p.m. This performance offers families an affordable entertainment experience and, paired with a book from the best-selling Henry and Mudge series, it will make a memorable gift this holiday season.

Performances are at The Whiting, 1241 East Kearsley St., on the campus of the Flint Cultural Center. Sesame Street Live at the Perani arena

FLINT — Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and friends will use their imaginations to visit exciting locales in Sesame Street Live “1-2-3 Imagine! With Elmo & Friends” at Perani Arena & Event Center, 3501 Lapeer Rd., March 21.

The magical journey begins as Sesame Street’s mail carrier, Sam, stops by to deliver special postcards from far-away places. When Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and friends wish to visit the exciting locations, Sam shares her secret on how they can — it’s as easy as counting “1-2-3 Imagine!”

Shows are at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and $20. A limited number of $25 Gold Circle seats and $50 Sunny Seats are also available.
