Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop
FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Trapt with special guests Candlelight Red, Ballz Deluxe and Spiral Crush on April 13. Tickets are $20 in advance.
Toolology featuring Autumn Coma and Russell Wayne with special guests OVACiiR, Easy Vibe and Mama Sol & The N.U.T.S. perform on April 14. Admission is $10 with 100 percent of the proceeds gong to the Flint Farmers Market.
Soulfly with special guests Lody King, Incite and Blood of the Unicorn, perform April 19. Tickets are $18 in advance.

Benefit concert for Selesky
RICHFIELD TWP. — A benefit will be held April 15 at the Davison Eagles Club, 3270 N. State Rd., beginning at 1 p.m., for Ruby Selesky, who is battling breast cancer. Music, food and cash bar will be available.

Kiwanis to hold art festival
LAPEER — The Lapeer Sunrise Kiwanis Club’s 2012 Art & History Festival will take place June 1- 3, on the Chatfield School and Mott Community College grounds located at the corner of DeMille Rd. and M-21 in Lapeer.
The event is expanding once again with more juried Art exhibitors, more Civil War re-enactor units and a replay of the hot air balloon event. To tap into the “Pure Michigan” theme, they have added juried Michigan-made food and cottage crafts as well as vintage cars and tractors.
