Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop

FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Rehab with special guests Mic Lordz and Sauce Funky, June 14. Tickets are $15 in advance.

On June 23, Jackyl will perform with special guests Tripp N Dixie and Monkey Grinder. Tickets are $15.

Puddle of Mudd with special guests Emphatic and Otherwise will perform June 24. Tickets are $25 in advance.

Battlecross, with special guest Beast in the Field, will perform June 28. Tickets are $8 in advance.

Muscle Cars at the Sloan Museum

FLINT — Muscle Cars are on display at the Sloan Museum, 1221 E. Kearsley St., through Sept. 16. From a 1957 Chrysler 300 to a 1987 BuickGNX, this exhibit is sure to appeal to visitors of all ages.

Since they stormed on the scene in the mid-sixties, these high-powered behemoths changed the face of the automotive industry forever. Learn the stories that shaped each one of these American icons.
