Concerts coming up at The Machine Shop

FLINT — The Machine Shop, 3539 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, will present Battlecross, with special guest Beast in the Field, June 28. Tickets are $8 in advance.

On June 29, Spineshank will perform with special guests 9 Electric and Mureau. Tickets are $10.

Gunnar & The Grizzly Boys will perform June 30. Tickets are $5 in advance.

Evans Blue: The Graveyard of Empires Tour 2012, with special guests State Your Cause, will perform July 6. Tickets are $16 in advance.

Muscle Cars at the Sloan Museum

FLINT — Muscle Cars are on display at the Sloan Museum, 1221 E. Kearsley St., through Sept. 16. From a 1957 Chrysler 300 to a 1987 BuickGNX, this exhibit is sure to appeal to visitors of all ages.

Since they stormed on the scene in the mid-sixties, these high-powered behemoths changed the face of the automotive industry forever. Learn the stories that shaped each one of these American icons.
