FLINT — American Advertising Federation’s Greater Flint ADDY Awards were held on Feb. 24, marking the 40th anniversary of the event. Throughout the course of the evening Hurley Medical Center’s marketing team won nine Addy awards in a variety of areas, including design, broadcast and video creation.
The team also took both Best in Show awards for broadcast and print. All gold and best of show awards will now compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the national stage of the American Advertising Awards
“The Hurley family couldn’t be more proud of our marketing team as they continue to rack up awards and be recognized for excellence in their field,” said Michael Burnett, MSW, MBA, VP for Service Line Development, Chief Strategy Officer and Interim President, Hurley Foundation. “As Hurley Medical Center provides unparalleled care in our community, and leads Genesee County as the preferred hospital provider, our talented staff in the Marketing Department always find creative, innovative, and profound ways to depict our distinctive relationship with the communities that we serve.”
The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
