FLINT TWP. – The Senior Citizens Center, 2071 S. Graham Road, will host a Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 20. Up to 25 vendors will be on hand. Raffles and freebies will be offered. FLINT TWP. — The Genesee District Library Genesee Valley Center branch (Sears Wing) will host a LOL Emoji Challenge at 4:30 p.m. March 15. Celebrate your favorite emojis, solve emoji puzzles to unlock the Breakout Box, make emoji crafts and play emoji games. For ages 7 and up. The Headquarters Library, 4195 Pasadena Ave, will hold an Open Lab Computer Class from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 Headquarters librarian Liz Kish will offer one-on-one help with computers and answer questions in the computer lab during these set times. Tickets available for annual C-A fundraiser

FLINT TWP. — The 4th annual Silent Auction fundraiser, hosted by the Carman- Ainsworth Education Foundation, will be held at 5:30-8:30 p.m. on April 27 at the Flushing Valley Golf Club & Banquet Center, 1124 E. Main Street, in Flushing. This year’s honorees are Brandon Carr, a Carman- Ainsworth 2004 graduate and current NFL player; Herb Jensen, former C-A central office administrator and Leanne Welch, a third-grade teacher at Rankin Elementary and coach of the C-A middle school VEX Robotics teams. Each is being honored for continuously and unselfishly giving their time, talents, and support for the good of C-A students, families, staff, and the greater school community. Tickets are $25 each and include a buffet dinner. A cash bar will be available. A silent auction of numerous valuable prizes is a highlight of the event.
