Crim Fitness Foundation Introduces CrimFit Business

FLINT — The Crim Fitness Foundation is pleased to announce a new program, CrimFit Business, with the goal of providing businesses with practical tools to support employees, clients and families in leading healthier lifestyles—and help make the community healthier by supporting the Crim’s work with adults and children throughout Flint and Genesee County.

CrimFit Business gives organizations a wide range of employee benefits, including registrations to: the CrimFit Adult Training Program for walkers and runners of every ability, the HAP Crim Festival of Races, the Marti Austin Kids Classic Race for children from 0-12 and the Tour de Crim Bike Ride. It also provides ongoing, year-round support for employees through free weekly yoga and summer bike rides, as well as weekly emails with healthy recipes, inspirational fitness ideas and information, and mindfulness tips to help manage stress. Businesses receive a plaque, window decals and CrimFit Business shirts that allow them to demonstrate to employees and the community their commitment to health and wellness. A Crim staff member visits each business to present their CrimFit Business package, welcome employees and help kick off the program.

Organizations who register for CrimFit Business by April 27 have the opportunity to enroll interested employees in the CrimFit Adult Training Program for the summer. Details: Call 810-235-6232. — G.G.
